💻 System & Network Tools Suite

Quick Checks for Performance, Network Info & Latency

Browser Performance Monitor

Check approximate browser memory usage and available CPU core information. Note: This shows memory used by the browser tab/process, *not* total system RAM/CPU usage.

Click the button to check performance info...

Memory values are estimates provided by the browser and may not reflect exact usage.

Network Information

Find your Public IP address and attempt to discover your Local IP address (requires browser permissions, may not always succeed).

Click the button to fetch network details...

Local IP discovery uses WebRTC and reliability can vary depending on network configuration and browser settings.

HTTP Latency Test (Website Ping)

Measure the response time from a web server. Enter a full URL (e.g., https://google.com). This tests HTTP(S) request latency, not ICMP ping.

Enter a URL and click 'Test Latency'.

Results depend on server location, network conditions, and server responsiveness. CORS restrictions may prevent testing some URLs.

    Browser & System Information

Display various details reported by your browser about itself and the underlying system.

Click the button to display information...

    Disk Space Checker

Note: Due to web browser security restrictions, websites cannot directly access your local hard drive to check disk space.

Your Online Hub for System & Network Insights: OmniTools Suite

In today's digital world, understanding your system's performance and network connection is crucial. Whether you're troubleshooting a slow website, checking browser resource usage, or just curious about your digital environment, having the right tools makes a difference. Introducing the **OmniTools System & Network Tools Suite** – a collection of free, browser-based utilities designed to provide quick insights without installing any software.

While web browsers operate within strict security sandboxes (preventing access to sensitive system data like total CPU/RAM usage or local disk space), this suite leverages the information *available* to the browser to offer valuable diagnostics. Explore tools for monitoring browser performance, checking network details, and testing website latency right here at OmniTools.

This suite brings together several handy utilities:

    Key Features Across the Suite

    How to Use These Tools

    1. Browser Performance Monitor: Simply click the "Check Performance" button. The results box will update with estimated memory usage (JS Heap) and CPU core count reported by your browser.
    2. Network Information: Click "Get Network Info". The tool will fetch your Public IP and attempt to find your Local IP (WebRTC might prompt for permission indirectly or might not succeed depending on your setup).
    3. HTTP Latency Test: Enter a full URL (including `http://` or `https://`) into the input field. Click "Test Latency". The tool will send several requests and display individual response times along with a summary (Min/Max/Average). Watch the status updates for progress or errors.
    4. Browser & System Information: Click "Show Info" to populate the results box with details like your User Agent, OS, screen size, language, etc.

Why Use Browser-Based System & Network Tools?

    Understanding the Limitations

It's crucial to reiterate that due to security, these browser tools **cannot**:

Always use your operating system's native tools (Task Manager, Activity Monitor, Disk Utility, `ping` command) for authoritative system information and diagnostics.

Despite these limitations, the OmniTools System & Network Tools Suite provides a valuable set of quick-check utilities directly within your browser. We are committed to providing useful, accessible tools. Learn more about our mission on our About Us page.
